Verb to greet in the traditional Cambodian way (either by placing the hands, palms together and fingers up, in front of the chest or by bowing) (usually used with small children)

(កិ.) សំពះ, ថ្វាយបង្គំ; ពាក្យទំយើសម្រាប់បង្គាប់កូនក្មេងតូចឲ្យសំពះ, ឲ្យថ្វាយបង្គំ : កូនម៉ែពន!, នាងពន! ។ គួរសរសេរជា ពន្ទ (បា. វន្ទ “សំពះ, ថ្វាយបង្គំ”, វ > ព) ។
