25 Miles from Siem Reap city, Banteay Srei is on the other side of Angkor Wat, but before you get to Phnom Kulen. It is a small rural town that hosts the 4th most amazing Angkorian Temple, an elephant sanctuary, camping places, homestays, a nearby waterfall, a small zoo and more.

Given it's location, Banteay Srei is a great place to stay the night on an outer Angkorian journey, or on the way to Koh Ker or Preah Vihear.
