១ (ន.) រោមរឹងវែងៗដែលដុះលើខ្នងជ្រូក : ប្រែងជ្រូក ។ រោមរឹងដែលដុះចាក់ត្រង់ប្របេរត្របកភ្នែក បណ្ដាលឲ្យរមាស់ភ្នែក ឲ្យភ្នែកពព្រៀក : ភ្នែកដុះប្រែង, ប្រែងចាក់ភ្នែក ។ ច្រាសធ្វើដោយប្រែងជ្រូកសម្រាប់ប្រើការសិតអំបោះ ជាដើមក៏ហៅ ប្រែង ដែរ ។ ២ (ប.) ពាក្យសម្រាប់និយាយផ្សំនឹងពាក្យ ប្រឹង ឬ ប្រុង ថា : ប្រឹងប្រែង, ប្រុងប្រែង (ម. ព. ប្រឹង និង ប្រុង) ។
