តាជី

Noun a layman who lives at a temple, shaves his head and observes all the rules and precepts of a monk (esp. one who takes care of temple grounds; they are not ordained, but may assist the monks)

(ន.) បុរសដែលកោរសក់ ស្លៀកដណ្ដប់សំពត់ស ឬសំពត់លឿង កាន់សីល ១០ តែមិនមែនបួសជាសាមណេរទេ ។ សូម្បីបុរសជាចាស់ព្រឹទ្ធាចារ្យឯទៀតក្រៅពីនោះ ពាក្យបុរាណក៏ហៅដោយគោរពថា តាជី បានដែរ ។ ព. ផ្ទ. ដូនជី, យាយជី, នាងជី ។
